Fried Chicken
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons seasoning salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning or 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 3 tablespoons chicken bouillon or 3 tablespoons chicken base
- combine all ingredients in a extra large zip lock bag.
- shake well to coat chicken.
- let sit for 5 minutes for coating to set.
- then place chicken in hot oil.
- let cook for roughly 15 - 20 minutes depending on how large pieces are.
- take out of pan and let drain in paper towel.
