Bubba's Beer Batter Shrimp Recipe

  1. Peel shrimp, leaving tails intact; devein, if you like.
  2. Combine flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Add in beer, butter, and egg yolk; stir till smooth.
  4. Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a Dutch oven; heat to 375 degrees.
  5. Dip shrimp into batter; fry, a few at a time, till golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. This recipe yields 2 servings.
