Grilled Banana Sundaes
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 medium bananas
- 2 cups light dulce de leche or 2 cups light vanilla ice cream
- 14 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 14 cup chopped pecans or 14 cup walnuts
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter with brown sugar, about 1 minute.
- Let stand for 5 minutes to cool; brush on bananas, reserving any extra mixture.
- Grill or broil bananas, brushing frequently with remaining brown sugar mixture, for 8 minutes or until bananas are heated and lightly golden.
- Cut warm bananas into 2-inch chunks, then divide among 4 serving dishes.
- Top with ice cream, drizzle with caramel topping and garnish with pecans.
