Simple and easy sheppard's pie
- 6 potatoes (or more depending how much you make)
- 1 few carrots chopped small
- 1 can corn niblets
- 1 can peas (side dish)
- 1 few carrots chopped small (side dish)
- 1 gravy ( as a topping )
- 1 packages minced meat
- 1 butter
- 1 milk
- 1 salt
- Preheat oven at 325 or 375 C For the meat i use salt , parsley, oregano, black pepper .
- so put some oil in pan.
- Heat oil with onion and garlic just a bit And once meat is seasoned place in pan and with wooden spoon make it crumbly.
- The meat seasoning i do by taste aswell.
- When its cooking if missing a bit more salt or anything you want just add it in.
- Peel the potatoes and put to boil
- After potatoes are done boiling smash them as if youre making mashed potatoes and add in butter ,milk and salt.
- Its measured by taste.
- Dont make it too soggy or sticky or else it will be messy to spread later on.
- In a pan warm up the can of corn niblets.
- In a glass thing like in the picture .
- place minced meat, then spread corn niblets and a thick layer of mashed potatoes on top.
- Dont mix meat with corn .
- two different layers.
- Grate any kind of cheese on the top and cook until a golden color.
- I used mozarella.
- As a side dish i boil carrots and fry the peas and put on the side with some salt on it.
- When sheppards pie is ready an awesome gravy sauce is amazing to put on top it in your plate .
