Veal Curry Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. veal stew meat
- 1 tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 1 tart apple, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tbsp. curry pwdr
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 c. bouillon
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 2 c. warm cooked rice
- Flaked coconut or possibly nuts minced for garnish
- 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- Brown cubed meat; add in onion, apple, seasonings and liquid.
- Cover and cook 1 hour.
- Thicken gravy by adding 1 1/2 Tbsp.
- flour stirred into 1/2 c. cool water.
- Add in raisins and cook 15 min longer.
- Serve over rice; sprinkle with coconut and minced nuts.
