Bbq'd Spareribs Recipe
- 3 lbs. spareribs
- 3/4 c. ketchup or possibly tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 lg. onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper meat.
- Cut apart ribs and brown on both sides in a skillet.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over the browned ribs.
- Cover tightly and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hrs, basting frequently.
- Twenty min before serving, remove lid to let the sauce thicken.
