Mama's Lasagne Italiano
- 1 packages lasagne noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 packages ricotta cheese
- 4 cup mozzerella
- 3 large eggs
- 1 packages cottage cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 powdered garlic, oregano, pepper, salt
- 1 packages baby bellas, chopped
- 2 bottles marinara sauce
- preheat oven to 400. in skillet, brown meats, mushrooms, onion, & garlic.
- while browning meat, boil noodles until soft& rinse them.
- add one bottle of the marinara & rest of spices to the meat & turn heat off.
- grease a large casserole dish.
- in a medium bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs & cottage cheese.
- in casserole dish, line bottom with noodles, beef sauce mixture, egg cheese mix, & the shredded mozzerella.
- repeat one or two more times, then stick in the oven for about 25 mins.
- top with the rest of the marinara & serve with a fresh salad & crusty bread.
