Linguine with White Clam Sauce Recipe
- 1 (10oz) can whole baby clams
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme or 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
- Pepper
- 1 (6.5 oz) minced clams, drain and save liquid
- Linguine (cooked)
- Drain baby clams and reserve liquid.
- Heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and saute 1 minute.
- Stir in flour.
- Stir in reserved clam juice, wine, parsley, thyme and pepper.
- Cook 2 minutes.
- Stir often.
- Add baby clams and minced clams.
- Cook 3 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve over the cooked linguine.
