Roasted Grapes & Asiago Crostini

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Line a shallow-edged baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Cut grapes in 1/2 lengthwise.
  4. Put into a bowl and mix the rest of the ingredients, except cheese and baguette.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes to allow the flavours to blend.
  6. Spread the grapes in the lined pan, pouring juices from bowl over top.
  7. Roast for about 40 minutes, stirring 1/2 way through.
  8. A little scorching is fine, but watch carefully that the grapes arent getting burnt.
  9. Remove from oven and cool to warm.
  10. Spoon onto baguettes slices or crackers.
  11. Top each with a thin shard of cheese.
  12. If you serve the grape spread warm, the cheese will melt slightly.
