Chicken Chaat

  1. In a pot, boil the chicken in a small amount of seasoned water.
  2. When cooked, cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
  3. In a bowl, completely dissolve the brown sugar into the prepared tamarind pulp.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, tamarind mixture, cumin, garam masala, chili powder, onion, lettuce, and lemon juice.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Season with salt.
  7. Let sit 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Refrigerate.
  9. Garnish with lemon wedges and cilantro.
