Banana Bran Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large bowl, crush the bran flakes, I just crumble them in my hands, then add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. In a separate small bowl mash the bananas with the water then add the egg whites and milk.
  4. Mix these in well.
  5. Add the liquid mix to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough is formed.
  6. Spoon this into a greased loaf tin and bake for approximately 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
