Full of Nutrition Hijiki Fried Rice Flavoured with Miso
- 1 tbsp Hijiki seaweed (dried)
- 4 Green beans
- 1/4 Green onion or scallion
- 1 Egg
- 1 roughly 1 bowl Hot cooked rice
- 1 tbsp each Miso and sake
- 1/2 tsp Finely chopped ginger
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- If you are using cold rice, microwave it in preparation.
- Soak the hijiki seaweed in water following the package instructions to reconstitute it.
- Slice the green beans and green onion into thin rounds.
- Beat the egg in a bowl.
- Combine the miso and sake, then set aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, and stir-fry the ginger and green onion.
- When fragrant, add the green beans, and continue stir-frying.
- Add the beaten egg, and add the rice right away.
- Stir quickly, and continue stir-frying until the rice grains stop sticking together.
- Swirl in the mixture of miso and sake, and continue stir-frying.
- Adjust the taste with salt and pepper, then you're done!
