Burdock Root Stir-fry for the New Year's Feast
- 3 roots Burdock root
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- Take the burdock roots and peel the skin.
- Cut in 3 cm pieces that are about 7 mm wide in diameter.
- Next, soak in water.
- Put water in a pot and then add the ingredients from Step 1.
- Boil the burdock roots until soft, put them in a colander and strain.
- In a mortar, add the dry roasted sesame seeds, sugar and soy sauce and grind with a pestle.
- Add what you've just made in Step 3 to the burdock root slices from Step 2, and toss well.
