Not-So-Spicy Blackberry Barbecue Sauce

  1. Combine all the above ingredients in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer.
  3. Cook uncovered until desired consistency (about 40 minutes).
  4. Strain the sauce.
