Mom's Best Banana Bread
- 1/2 cup margarine softened
- 1 cup sugar white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups bananas mashed
- 2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch pan.
- Cream margarine and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs, then bananas.
- Add flour and baking soda, stirring just until combined.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350F (180C) for 40 to 60 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean).
- Remove from pan and let cool.
