Spaghetti Sauce With Meatballs & Sausage Recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 2 tbsp. parsley
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Sausage, cut up (opt.)
- 1 (28 ounce.) can whole tomatoes, blended
- 1 (12 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Red pepper seeds to taste
- Mix ingredients, shape into small balls.
- Cook over medium heat till browned.
- Add in to sauce.
- SAUCE: Saute/fry garlic, onion, parsley and sausage in oil in large kettle.
- Drain, add in tomatoes, sauce, paste, water and seasonings.
- Simmer 3 hrs.
- Add in meatballs.
- Simmer 1 hour.
