Vanilla Flavoring

  1. Heat 2 cups (475 ml) of the vodka.
  2. Split the two vanilla beans in half.
  3. Put beans in hot vodka.
  4. Let sit until cool.
  5. Pour cool vodka, vanilla extract, beans back into vodka bottle.
  6. Shake to mix.
  7. Let sit in cool, dry place for 2 months.
  8. Shake it up about once a month.
