New Orleans Crabmeat and Mushrooms

  1. Flake crabmeat.
  2. Remove stiff membranes.
  3. Melt butter, remove from heat.
  4. Blend in flour.
  5. Gradually add milk and wine.
  6. Stir until smooth.
  7. Add seasonings.
  8. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes.
  9. Add crabmeat and mushrooms.
  10. Place in greased casserole or shells.
  11. Sprinkle tops with bread crumbs.
  12. Dot with butter.
  13. Bake in a 350* oven for 30 minutes.
