Chili-Rubbed Pork Chops (6 points)
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Brown Sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 20 oz Pork Chops (4 chops approx 5oz each)
- In a small bowl combine chili powder, brown sugar, cumin, cinnamon, salt, & pepper.
- Mix with a fork.
- Butterfly pork chops by slicing them horizontally, stopping 1/2" from edge to keep halves attaches.
- Open chops, flatten them on your work surface.
- Rub spice mixture on both sides of the chop.
- Marinate overnight.
- Coat grill with cooking spray.
- Grill chops for 3 minutes, then turn & continue cooking until chops are firm.
