Diabetic Apple Pie Recipe
- 1 recipe pastry for double crust pie
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 or possibly 4 teaspoon liquid Sweet 10
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 c. pared, sliced apples (5 or possibly 6 med.)
- Butter and cinnamon
- Combine flour, cinnamon and salt.
- Arrange apples in 9 inch pastry lined dish.
- Sprinkle Sweet 10 and flour mix over each layer of apples.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Place top crust over filling.
- Fold edge and press to seal.
- Sprinkle some cinnamon and butter over top of pie.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min, then turn over down to 375 degrees and bake 40 to 50 min till apples are tender.
