Salsa Verde Fresca Recipe
- 2 lg. fresh tomatoes
- 2 avocados
- 1 white onion
- 6 lg. green chili pods
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Roast chili pods in broiler, turning till proportionately brown.
- Remove pods and cover with damp cloth till steamed.
- Peel skins off and take seeds out.
- Dice tomato, avocado, onion and green chili.
- Chop cilantro.
- Mix all ingredients in bowl.
- Sprinkle in oregano and salt to taste.
- Muy, Muy, Bueno served with grilled meat.
