Molded Souffle Salad Recipe
- 1 c. macaroni, uncooked
- 1 pkg. lime Jello
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 c. shredded raw carrots
- 1 tbsp. finely minced onion
- 1 (7 ounce.) can tuna fish, liquid removed
- Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain well and set aside.
- In a large bowl dissolve lime Jello in warm water.
- Add in mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
- Quick refrigeratelime mix in freezing compartment of refrigerator till hard near edge of bowl but soft in the center.
- Remove from freezing compartment; whip with rotary beater till fluffy.
- Mix in cooled macaroni, vegetables and tuna fish.
- Pour into 1 1/2 qt mold.
- Chill.
- Unmold and garnish with salad greens.
- 4 to 6 servings.
