My Mustard & Apple Cider Pork Loin Chops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 pork loin chops
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 1/4 cup Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup double cream
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 pinch black pepper
- On a griddle or frypan fry each side of the chops for 2 mins each side
- Slice onions and add to a frypan oiled with olive oil and fry until opaque in colour
- While the onions fry.
- Place the loin chops in a greased oven dish and put in a preheated oven 150 C/ gas 5-6 and oven cook for 20 minutes then turn the chops over and cook for a further 20 minutes.q
- Pour the cider over the onions and fry fast for 3 minutes
- Next add the mustard grain and the dijon mustard and stir in
- Add the Apple sauce to it and mix add the cream and water and mix all together, simmer for 5 minutes .
- Add a little black pepper mix in .
- When the chops have been cooking for the secound time , bring out of the oven and pour the sauce all over leave the pork juices in and mix and put back into the oven for 10-15 minutes .
- Take out put in a serving dish and serve hot.
- Serve with thick chunky Homemade Chips & Peas
