Hearty White Whole Wheat Waffles

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients.
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together the wet ingredients and combine with the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
  3. Let the batter sit at least 10 minutes to give the whole wheat a chance to soften in the liquids.
  4. Cook the waffles as directed by your waffle maker.
  5. It should make about eight 8" waffles.
  6. I pour mine kind of skimpy so I got ten waffles.
