Mexican-Style Swiss Steak
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 tbsp. chili seasoning mix
- 4 (4 oz. each) lean minute beef steaks
- 1-3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup chunky salsa
- In a flat dish, combine flour and chili seasoning mix.
- Gently coat steaks.
- Spray a large skillet with olive flavored cooking spray.
- Brown steaks on both sides over medium heat.
- Combine tomato sauce and salsa.
- Pour over steaks.
- Lower heat.
- Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes.
- "Gravy" is great over rice, potatoes, or any type of pasta.
