Banana Nut Bread(Low-Fat)

  1. Sift the flour with the soda and salt.
  2. Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add the eggs and bananas and blend thoroughly.
  5. Combine the milk and lemon juice (or vinegar) which will curdle a bit.
  6. Slowly and alternately fold in the flour mixture and milk mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  7. Blend well after each addition.
  8. Stir in the nuts (if desired).
  9. Pour batter into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan sprayed with Pam and bake in a preheated 350u0b0 oven for 1 hour or until the bread springs back when lightly touched in the center.
  10. Enjoy!!!
