Bbq Spiced French Fries Recipe
- 6 c. Vegetable oil
- 4 x Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 /4-thick inch fries
- 1 x Recipe BBQ Spice
- 5 Tbsp. Hungarian paprika
- 2 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr, (pasilla negro or possibly habanero)
- 2 Tbsp. Brown suagr
- 1 tsp Cumin, grnd
- 1 tsp Coriander, grnd
- 1 tsp Thyme dry
- 2 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 2 tsp Onion pwdr
- 3 Tbsp. Kosher salt
- In a heavy-bottomed pot, preheat the vegetable oil to 350 degrees.
- Add in the potatoes and fry till golden brown, about 5 to 7 min.
- Transfer the fries to a large bowl and toss with BBQ Spice.
- Serve.
- BBQ SPICE:Place all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse till everything is very well combined and almost pulverized.
- Sprinkle desired amount over warm French fries and toss well.
