Pork Chop Supper Recipe

  1. Trim fat from chops, cook trimmings in skillet till 2 Tbsp.
  2. fat accumulates.
  3. Throw away trimmings.
  4. Brown chops slowly in warm drippings.
  5. Set chops aside, reserve drippings.
  6. In same skillet cook rice and onion in reserved drippings till rice is golden brown, stirring constantly.
  7. Stir in water and bouillon.
  8. Bring to boiling, stir in minced apple.
  9. Turn mix into a 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish, arrange chops atop.
  10. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  11. Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon.
  12. Brush sliced apples with mix; arrange around chops.
  13. Bake, uncovered, till apples and pork are tender, about 20 min.
  14. Serves 2.
