Angel Food Torte

  1. Cut each cake horizontally into 3 equal slices; set aside.
  2. Fold half of the whipped topping into pudding until well blended.
  3. Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly onto each bottom cake layer; cover with middle cake layer and remaining pudding.
  4. Top with remaining cake layers; press gently into pudding mixture to secure.
  5. Spread top and sides of tortes with the remaining whipped topping.
  6. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  7. Cut each torte crosswise into 8 slices to serve.
  8. Store in refrigerator.
