Cherry Slices Recipe

  1. Blend flour, baking pwdr and shortening.
  2. Mix lemon juice, Large eggs and water and add in to flour mix.
  3. Mix by hand till dough forms a ball.
  4. Roll out half of dough and line 11x15 inch cookie sheet.
  5. Pour in cherry filling.
  6. Roll out remaining dough for top crust; make several slits in top crust to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake at 450 degrees till browned.
  8. Frost while still hot.
