Curried Meatballs Recipe
- 1 pound of lean hamburger
- 1 thick slice of bread
- 1 sm. onion, grated
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp. curry pwdr (2 tbsp. if desired it warm)
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Dash of salt
- Pepper to taste
- Soak the bread in some water and add in to the hamburger in a bowl.
- Mix the curry pwdr together with the vinegar, sugar and a little water and add in to the meat along with the rest of the ingredients.
- Moisten with sufficient water to make hard but not dry mix.
- Form into small balls and fry in Teflon baking pan or possibly warm oil.
- Skewer with cocktail sticks and serve as "finger food".
