BAKER'S GERMAN'S Sweet Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
  3. or until butter is melted.
  4. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  5. Add sugar; beat with mixer until blended.
  6. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Blend in vanilla.
  8. Combine 1/2 cup flour, baking soda and salt.
  9. Add to chocolate mixture; mix well.
  10. Add remaining flour alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition.
  11. Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
  12. Bake 25 to 30 min.
  13. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  14. Cool in pans 10 min.
  15. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
  16. Frost with Coconut-Pecan Filling and Frosting.
