Apple Dumplings (Eb'l Dumpling) Recipe
- 2 c. Flour
- 4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp. Shortening
- 1 c. Soymilk
- 6 x Apples Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Pare and core apples.
- Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt; cut in shortening, add in soymilk and mix to smooth dough.
- Turn onto floured board and divide into six portions.
- Roll each portion large sufficient to cover one apple.
- Place an apple on each piece of dough; fill with cinnamon & sugar; wet edges of dough and fold over apple.
- Place on greased baking sheet & bake at 350F till apples are tender (about 40 min).
