Easy Kimchi Udon Noodles with Chinese Cabbage and Pork
- 1 pack Boiled udon noodles
- 1 large leaf Chinese cabbage
- 70 to 80 grams Pork (thinly sliced)
- 85 ml Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
- 400 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Kimchi base seasoning
- 1 tbsp White ground sesame seeds
- Cut up the cabbage.
- Heat up the water and add a dash of sake (not listed in the ingredients).
- Add the pork and cabbage and simmer while skimming off the scum properly.
- Add the mentsuyu sauce and the kimchi seasoning.
- Add the udon noodles and heat through.
- Finish by adding the ground sesame seeds.
- I have a hungry growing teenager in the house, which is my excuse for the huge portion shown here.
