Brazilian Rum Coffee
- 14 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (300 ml) caneagle brand sweetened condensed milk (regular or low-fat)
- 4 cups water
- 2 12 cups strong coffee
- 1 tablespoon imitation rum (or to taste) or 1 tablespoon brandy extract (or to taste)
- In a large saucepan combine cocoa and salt.
- Stir in sweetened condensed milk.
- Over medium heat, slowly stir in water and coffee; heat thoroughly but do not boil.
- Stir in rum extract.
- Serve immediately.
- Garnish with whipped cream for a nice treat!
