Beef And Pepper Pie Recipe
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 2 c. sweet red peppers, packed in oil
- 1 lrg onion, minced
- 1 x (4 oz) can mushrooms">mushrooms or possibly fresh mushrooms">mushrooms
- 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 x recipe double pie crust
- Method:1.
- Place peppers, including liquid, into food processor; pulse till peppers are cut into small pcs.
- 2.
- Brown meat and onions.
- Add in peppers, mushrooms, and cheese to meat mix.
- Spoon into bottom crust.
- Cover with top crust, and seal the edges.
- 3.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) till crust is brown, and pie is heated through.
- Makes 1 pie
- A delicious blend of beef, Italian peppers, and cheese.
- Make ahead for busy days.
- It reheats wonderfully in the microwave.
