Healthy Homemade Bars
- 1 egg
- 1 cup almond butter (or substitute 1 cup organic peanut butter)
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 12 cup raisins
- 12 cup dried cranberries
- 14 cup sunflower seeds or 14 cup crushed pumpkin seeds
- 18-14 cup honey
- if you prefer it sweeter feel free to add 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or a few drops stevia
- Set oven to 275.
- Combine egg and almond butter until well mixed.
- Add honey until texture is smooth.
- Add the oatmeal, raisins and dried cranberries.
- At this point add any seeds, chocolate, or powder.
- Place on a lined baking tray in balls, or place the mixture 1 inch thick in a well greased glass baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
- Cut into desired size square or place balls onto a rack to cool.
