Beef Sukiyaki Recipe
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 2 lbs. beef sirloin, cut into thin strips or possibly round steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 lg. jar sliced mushrooms
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced lengthwise
- 12 ounce. Sprite
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
- 1 can bean sprouts, liquid removed
- 1 can bamboo shoots, liquid removed
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts, liquid removed
- 1 pkg. snow peas, frzn
- Saute/fry onions in two Tbsp.
- oil till soft.
- Add in beef strips, cook and stir over high heat till meat is slightly brown.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper and vinegar over meat.
- Add in celery and bell pepper.
- Cook 5 min.
- Add in all other ingredients and cook 5 min more.
- Serve over rice.
