Mud Pie

  1. COMBINE crumbs, sugar, coffee and butter.
  2. Press evenly over bottom and sides of 9" (1L/23cm) pie plate.
  3. Bake in oven at 350F (180C) for 8 minutes.
  4. Cool.
  5. Drizzle about 2 Tbsp (30mL) fudge topping over crust.
  6. Mound ice cream into prepared pie crust and freeze until firm.
  7. Drizzle or spread remaining fudge topping over ice cream.
  8. Freeze until ready to serve.
  9. GARNISH with candies, crushed chocolate bars, cookie crumbs, coffee beans or toasted nuts.
