Mr. Mudd's Cranberry Apple Bake

  1. Spray or butter a 9x12 pyrex dish.
  2. Peel, halve, core and slice or chop apples.
  3. (I prefer them chopped).
  4. Place in dish.
  5. Wash, pick over and drain cranberries.
  6. Pour over top of apples.
  7. Mix sugar and cornstarch together in small bowl.
  8. Add vanilla, butter and preserves.
  9. Pour over top of apple/cranberry mix.
  10. Sprinkle with nuts.
  11. Bake uncovered in preheated 375 oven about 50-60 minutes.
