Portable Coffee
- 1 (1/4 ounce) package unflavored gelatin
- 14 cup cold water
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 34 cups hot coffee
- 14 cup Irish whiskey (or other alcoholic beverage) (optional)
- whipped cream
- Sprinkle gelatin over the cold water and let stand until soft, 5-7 minutes.
- Combine sugar, coffee and whiskey.
- Add gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
- Divide mixture among 4 small coffee cups.
- Refrigerate until set.
- Dollop with whipped cream before serving.
