Apples Stuffed With Saurkraut Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degress Pare the tops of 4 large baking apples Remove the pulp and throw away the core, leaving a 1/2 inch shell.
  2. Chop the pulp, and add in to it 2 c. liquid removed canned or possibly cooked sauerkraut 1/8 tsp.
  3. pepper1/4 tsp.
  4. caraway seed salt , as needed Fill the shells.
  5. Place them in a dish with 1/4 c. water or possibly dry wine.
  6. Bake till tender.
  7. Baste frequently.
