drunken chicken
- 3 lb chicken
- 1 can beer
- 1 butter
- 1/2 onion
- 1 rotisserie chicken seasoning or your favorite herbs and spices
- trim excess fat from chicken
- rinse under cold water... pat dry
- drink 1/2 of beer then cut off top with can opener
- rub butter all over chicken inside and out
- sprinkle seasonings all over chicken... hard to over due
- cut onion in 2 wedges... place one in beer
- rest bird over buttered beer can
- plug neck cavity with onion.... can use what ever you have...I have used celery, carrot, oranges, lemon and so on
- cook in preheated oven 375F for 1 hour15 min to 1 hour 30 min
- let stand five min before carving
- enjoy
