Cinnamon Applescotch Cookies

• 13 cup shortening
• 12 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 12 teaspoon vanilla
• 13 cup applesauce
• 1 14 cups all-purpose flour
• 12 teaspoon cinnamon
• 14 teaspoon baking soda
• 14 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup butterscotch chips

1. Cream shortening with sugar.
2. Beat in egg and vanilla;Stir in applesauce.
3. Combine flour,cinnamon,soda and salt.
4. Stir into creamed mixture;mix in butterscotch chips.
5. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
6. Bake in pre-heated 350F oven 12- 15 minutes.
