Mincemeat With Green Tomato

  1. Cover meat with water and simmer until tender.
  2. Force meat, suet, tomatoes and apples through food processor until it is in smallish pieces.
  3. Place in a large saucepan and add remaining ingredients (except brandy) and simmer 1 hour, stirring frequently.
  4. Fill 3 hot, sterilized 1-quart jars.
  5. Place 2 tablespoons brandy on top, if desired.
  6. Seal.
  7. Store in cool place.
  8. Makes a wonderful minced pie!
