Orange Butter Cream Squares
- 1 14 cups about 25 finely crushed chocolate wafer cookies
- 13 cup butter, softened
- 1 12 cups powdered sugar
- 13 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
- In medium bowl, stir together all crust ingredients.
- Press on bottom of 9" aquare pan.
- Cover; refrigerate till firm (about 1 hour).
- in smaller mixer bowl, combine all filling ingredients.
- Beat at medium speed until creamy.
- spread over crust.
- In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; drizzle over filling.
- Refrigerate until firm (1-2 hours).
- Cut into bars; store in refrigerator.
- ***NOTE*** to crush chocolate wafer cookies, place cookies in a resealable plastic food bag.
- Crush with rolling pin or flat edges of mallet.
