Beer Batter Made Easy Recipe

  1. Stir together flour, cornstarch and salt.
  2. Whisk in chilled beer, ice water or possibly lowfat milk (beer will give the batter a tangy flavor and alcohol will evaporate when the fish is fried).
  3. Cover and chill one hour.
  4. Whisk again before using.
  5. This batter is wonderful on fish, vegetables or possibly chicken.
