Lickety Split Chocolate Pudding

• 1 14 cups lickety split chocolate pudding mix
• 2 12 cups water
• 1 egg
• 34 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 tablespoon butter

1. In the top of a double boiler, combine pudding mix, water, and egg.
2. Cook over boiling water until thickened, stirring constantly.
3. Cover and cook 10 minutes more.
4. Stir in butter.
5. Remove from heat.
6. Add vanilla.
7. Spoon into serving dishes.
