Garden Salad Feta Stuffed Burgers
- 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1/2 pounds Ground Pork
- 4 stalks Green Onions, Cleaned, Thinly Sliced, White Parts Only
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 4 Burger Buns
- 1 whole Tomato, Cut Into Thin Wedges
- 1 whole Green Banana Pepper, Thinly Sliced Rounds
- 1 whole Cucumber, Thinly Sliced
- 1 whole Small Onion, Roughly Chopped
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- In a large mixing bowl combine beef, pork, onions, salt and pepper; mix it all together.
- Shape the hamburger meat into patties that are about 1/2 inch thick, and about the diameter of a hamburger bun (youll get 8 or so out of this amount of meat).
- On half of the patties make an indentation in the center.
- Set patties aside.
- In a small bowl combine feta cheese and garlic powder.
- Fill the indentations with the feta mixture.
- Top each patty that has feta on top with another patty and press to seal the edges.
- Place your burgers on the hot grill.
- Cook for 7 minutes; turn and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until done.
- In the meantime, prepare the salad.
- In a large bowl combine all of the salad ingredients and stir gently until thoroughly combined.
- Take burgers off the grill and place on buns.
- Top with prepared salad.
- Serve.
