Micro Scrumptious Butterscotch Sauce Recipe

• 1 tbsp. cornstarch
• 1 1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 c. dairy half and half
• 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 c. butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. In 1 1/2 qt casserole stir together cornstarch and brown sugar.
2. Stir in half and half, corn syrup and salt.
3. Add in butter.
4. Cover.
5. Microwave at high 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 min, till thickened and sugar is dissolved.
6. Add in vanilla and stir till smooth and well blended.
7. Serve hot or possibly cool.
8. Makes 1 1/2 c..
